The Wharton Performing Arts school is seeking private instrumental instructors to join our faculty. Interested candidates should have a minimum Bachelor of Music degree in performance or music education. This position will provide private instrumental instruction for fall and spring semesters with opportunities for in school and after school community partnerships, and summer camps.

PMP Jazz Site Assistant
Reporting to the Director and working closely with the Jazz Program Coordinator, the Jazz Site Assistant will be responsible for assisting with on-site jazz program operations, record keeping and parent communication.

PMP Teaching Artists
PMP seeks multiple Teaching Artists for jazz percussion, concert percussion, and hand percussion are the preferred and priority instruments, but PMP is also seeking Teaching Artists to teach strings, woodwinds, brass, percussion, guitar and keyboard. PMP hires substitute Teaching Artists on a rolling basis.

Student Services Associate
The Student Services office provides efficient, friendly, and timely customer service to both current and prospective Performing Arts School families, and facilitates relationships between families and instructors. In addition, the department serves as front of house staff at performance, recitals, and special events happening at the school.

NJYC- Director of Primi Passi
Primi Passi is a non-auditioned music exploration class for students in grades K-2. The singing-based curriculum is focused on developing basic music literacy and vocal skills through engaging musical games, rhythmic activities, folk dancing/movement, visual learning, and simple percussion instruments. The ensemble repertoire focuses mainly on unison music, with an introduction to two-part singing through beginning canons. The program also emphasizes making new friends, building confidence, and the joy of singing together!

Successful candidates will work in group theater class settings in voice, musical theater, drama, or dance (depending on their specialty) to provide instruction to Wharton Arts students and Community Partnership Programs.
