Biography
Maja Uzarska is a passionate violinist and dedicated music educator currently pursuing her Master of Music degree at the Manhattan School of Music in New York. She holds a Bachelor of Music from the prestigious Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. Maja’s extensive performance experience includes collaborations with renowned orchestras such as the London Musical Theatre Orchestra, Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra, the Vienna Summer Music Festival Orchestra (where she served as concertmaster) and the English Chamber Orchestra. As a member of the Aquilae Quartet, she has performed at notable festivals across Europe, including Italy’s Virtuoso & Belcanto Music Festival where she received a special invitation to perform at the Florence Academy of Arts, and the Golowan Festival in the UK.
Her awards include top prizes in international competitions in Italy, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sweden, and France. Maja is a recipient of the prestigious Max Jaffa Violin Fund and the National Scholarship from the Polish Ministry of Culture. As a dedicated educator, she brings her extensive performance experience and international training to inspire the next generation of young musicians.
