Camerata Director, Coro Vivo Director

Dan Malloy received his Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education from The College of New Jersey and a Master of Music Education degree from Florida State University. He is the Choir Director at Newton High School where he directs three levels of curricular choir as well as a chamber choir and an a cappella group. Malloy started his career in the Madison Public Schools. At the high school level, he led choir ensembles for grades 9-12, the jazz ensemble, and was the musical director for the spring musicals.

Malloy also worked closely with the middle school choirs, in preparation for high school. While at the elementary level, he taught Grade 4-5 chorus, general music for grades K-5, and produced and directed the 5th grade musical. He has taught private lessons at the Roxbury Community School, and was a section leader and soloist at the Presbyterian Church of Madison. Currently, Malloy can be seen performing as a baritone in Harmonium Choral Society and is active as a performer and music director in musical theater across North Jersey.
