ARTISTRY
“Artistry can be defined as a ‘creative skill or ability,’ but within the Wharton Arts programs, from NJYC to the Performing Arts School, it represents far more than that. Artistry is the foundation upon which every note, movement, and performance is built. Yet, what does it truly mean? Many students enter Wharton Arts believing they have already reached their artistic potential, but artistry does not stop developing, it is a continuous journey of growth. It evolves each day through dedication, collaboration, and passion.
True artistry combines communication, teamwork, and perseverance, shaping students into expressive and disciplined musicians. Within each rehearsal and performance, artistry grows, allowing talent to shine. Ultimately, artistry cannot be limited to the individual; it embodies the shared creativity, commitment, and unity that define what it means to be a thriving musician.”
