As one of the Student Leaders for WASLA I’ve definitely learned a lot more of the intricacies that I was never concerned about as a student of the Wharton Performing Arts School. I am a solo voice lesson student, so I never worried about what other ensembles were doing, but since I’ve now had the opportunity to emcee, help with social media, work at PAS, and help bring together Wharton Arts day, I’m much more interested in what all the other groups have to offer! For me, the most fun and probably most useful part is learning about all the logistics that go into events such as Wharton Arts Day. It was really an effort to have everything come together as nicely as it did and it definitely involved a lot of teamwork. I’m excited to see what more I can learn from this experience!
