Dear Parents and Students:
In accordance with the Berkeley Heights Board of Education, the Performing Arts School in Berkeley Heights is closing effective today immediately until Sunday, March 29th. Within this time period, we will reevaluate any potential closures moving forward as we reassess the situation on a continued basis.
For the two week time period during which we are closed, faculty members are strongly encouraged to continue their lessons remotely by FaceTime, Skype, Zoom, or any other form of video/audio means possible. Please note that lessons and group classes not given remotely in this two-week period will be made up. Our Policies and Procedures will remain in effect for this time period. Please reach out to your teacher to make arrangements for remote lessons.
If we have to remain closed beyond the two-week period (after March 29), we will notify you and inform you as to the status of your lessons and group classes and we will address the exact procedure regarding this in a follow up email from our Director of Education & Office Administration Andrew Nitkin (andrew.nitkin@WhartonArts.org). If you have arranged remote private lessons, it would be helpful for you to inform Kristen Wuest, Director of Student Services, at kristen.wuest@WhartonArts.org so that we can track your lessons.
Thank you for your cooperation in this difficult and challenging time and please feel free to respond with any questions, requests, information and/or concerns you may have. DOWNLOAD THIS MESSAGE.
