What do students need to bring to their first lesson?
Water, a pencil, any questions or ideas about their goals, and a positive attitude!
Learning Goals
Basic aspects of singing technique: breath, support, intonation, phrasing. Students will learn about how to warm up the voice, focus on vocal technique, and then apply them to a song(s) in lessons.
Supply List
Voice: Sightsinging, 24 Italian Arias (for classical students), individual repertoire as assigned. Piano: Piano Adventures Series, more advanced pieces as assigned
Time Commitment
I recommend weekly lessons and regular practice at home throughout the week for students that are interesting in improving their singing, playing, or skill level.
