Biography
Ryan Branco is a New Jersey-based trumpet player and music educator who holds both a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education and a Masters Degree of Arts in Teaching from Montclair State University. He is dual certified as a Teacher of Students with Disabilities and brings an inclusive, student-centered approach to every lesson. Ryan has taught private trumpet lessons for the past three years and has worked closely with the Watchung Hills Regional High School Marching Band for over five years, mentoring students across a range of skill levels.
His performance experience includes, but is not limited to, the New Jersey Youth Symphony (2017-2019), Interlochen Arts Academy (2018), and the Montclair State University Symphony Orchestra (2019-2024). He has played in masterclasses with world-renowned trumpet players including Vincent DiMartino, Chris Martin, Mark Ridenour, Arturo Sandoval, and his most recent with David Puchkoff. Ryan has also performed in a variety of pit orchestras, with credits such as Beauty and the Beast, Guys and Dolls, Fiddler on the Roof, Oklahoma!, and The Drowsy Chaperone.
As an educator, Ryan is passionate about helping students grow both musically and personally. He fosters a positive learning environment that values effort, creativity, and joy. Outside of teaching, he enjoys listening to music and spending time with family and friends along with his dog, Lilly.
