My Teaching Philosophy

With all of my experience teaching students in various settings, my philosophy centers around student ownership, musical growth, and the simple joy of making music. I believe that music should be both rigorous and enjoyable—an outlet for creativity, self-expression, and personal development. By fostering a classroom environment that balances structure with artistic freedom, I aim to help students grow not just as musicians, but as confident, independent thinkers who see music as a lifelong skill and passion.
