Biography
Patrisha is an accomplished performer, choreographer, and teaching artist with a diverse background in musical theater, dance, and acting. She trained extensively in classical ballet and modern dance at prestigious institutions including Alvin Ailey, Broadway Dance Center, and DFJ Studio, and further developed her acting skills at The Acting Studio New York. She also received specialized training through the Disney Musical Theater Program.
Her professional performance career includes an international tour with the Glory Gospel Singers, where she served as Head Choreographer, as well as the National Tour of Hairspray. Her regional theater credits include performances with Maine State Music Theatre and Ogunquit Playhouse, among others. Her stage credits include Dreamgirls, Hairspray, Smokey Joe’s Café, Memphis, and The Music Man.
Passionate about inspiring the next generation of performers, Patrisha currently works as a Teaching Artist with 92Y, Dance Theatre of Harlem, and the New Jersey Performing Arts Center. She brings her professional experience and extensive training into the classroom, helping young artists build confidence, develop their skills, and discover the joy of performing. Patrisha holds a degree from Hofstra University with a minor in Dance.
Her on-screen credits include appearances in the television series A Crime to Remember and After the Wait, as well as the upcoming series The Newlyweds. With experience spanning professional stages, television, choreography, and arts education, Patrisha brings a wealth of knowledge, energy, and real-world experience to every student she works with.
