What do students need to bring to their first lesson?
Pencil and book of manuscript paper.
Learning Goals
Learning how to hold the horn and mouthpiece placement, basic fingerings to play notes of the scale, embouchure and air column control which are essential to tone production and clean attacks. Work on one solo tune.
Supply List
Each student will require their own level of etudes but I would appreciate if all would bring a manuscript book of staff paper and pencil to each lesson. Basic books are Kopprasch and Farkas The Art of French Horn Playing
Time Commitment
Weekly 30 or 45 min lessons weekly depending on age and level.
