My Teaching Philosophy

Every student has a unique personality and abilities, regardless of age or earlier music exposure and experience. My process involves tuning in to each student at their existing level and applying modalities to help tap and develop interest and passion for music. Violin learning and practice can and should be a positive and transformative experience for every student that reaches beyond mechanical thinking and doing. It should help awaken the musician within to help bring meaning, joy and love into their life and all life’s endeavors.
