Biography
Edward Obermueller founded the first Suzuki studio in Morristown, NJ in 2014 and has led Suzuki programs around the state. A violinist for more than 30 years, he has seen many lives transformed by Suzuki including his own. He studied music and art at St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota, where he sat co-Principal Chair, toured internationally, and was featured on nationally televised concerts. Edward gives special focus to mindfulness of tone and awareness of the internal/external body in students' playing."I use a holistic approach that encourages parent participation while engaging all learning modalities. Most of all, I want to pass on the joy of practicing and peforming with ease and fluency."
