General
NJYC hosts auditions each June for the following season. We also hold mid-year auditions for some ensembles in January. Audition applications and requirements can be found on our website.
Each season’s calendar is special and unique, but each ensemble can expect to participate in a mix of formal concerts, workshops and clinics, festivals, philanthropic events, retreats, and social events.
There are typically 8-12 events on each ensemble’s calendar that include our annual welcome day potluck, our Kids for Kids benefit events, and our winter and spring concerts.
Yes, the choir has been hired to sing at corporate events, private parties, and fundraisers. Please reach out to us at krystiana.machtinger@WhartonArts.org to discuss the possibility of having NJYC perform at your event.
