After graduating with her Masters, Sarah attended Kean University, graduating with a Masters in Counseling with a focus of School Counseling and a track of earning her LPC. Sarah has been a school counselor since 2016. In 2018, Sarah received Governor’s Support Staff Award.
Sarah began working as a therapist at Peace of Mind Yoga Counseling and Wellness Center in Berkeley Heights in 2016. Throughout the years, Sarah has worked with a varied group of adults, children, and families who have experienced challenges in life, crises, trauma, and domestic violence. She has experience in group and individual counseling. Sarah was introduced to Sandplay Therapy in 2014. She believes sand allows clients to express themselves in ways they may find difficult to do in traditional talk therapy. Sarah is also trained in EMDR and Trauma Focused Therapy.
Sarah is passionate about assisting clients through the process of personal growth and believes she is fortunate they are willing to share their stories along the way.
