In this virtual workshop, Eric Salazar, The Clarinet Guy, will break down different styles of communication and provide an analysis of their effectiveness in rehearsal spaces. Hands-on activities will allow participants to identify the difference between passive, aggressive, passive-aggressive, and assertive communications. A miniature skit-based activity will have students act out different rehearsal scenarios in order to build competency in communicating during rehearsals assertively and respectfully. Recommended for Grades 9-12. Pre-registration required.
