Free concert featuring faculty from the Wharton Institute for the Performing Arts.
Performances by faculty members Timothy Maureen Cole, soprano; Christine Ciuffreda, piano; Craig Graham, guitar; Sean Hack, coronet; Robert Heinink, guitar with special guests Ken Levinsky, piano, Scott Hogan, bass, and Mark Morelli, drums; and Luba Vasilyeva, piano include works by Vassily Brandt, Muzio Clementi, and Stephen Sondheim. The concert is free and open to the public.
Paterson Music Project (PMP) will perform in the Art in the Park Showcase at The Great Falls Festival on Sunday, October 14 at 1:30 p.m. at the Paterson Great Falls Historical Park Overlook Park Amphitheater located at 72 McBride Avenue in Paterson. Presented by the Passaic County Cultural and Heritage Council, the Art in the Park Showcase is made possible through a 2018 National Endowment for the Arts grant and funding from the Passaic County Community College. The event is free and open to the public.
Featuring an afternoon of salsa, world music, sculptures, and murals, 30 students from the Paterson Music Project will perform in the showcase and will join People of Earth, a dynamic world music ensemble creating an explosive blend of music from Cuba, Puerto Rico, Brazil and beyond.

Wharton Institute is again taking part in the Gran FondoNJ Bike Ride to raise funds for the Paterson Music Project. The Gran Fondo begins and ends at Headquarters Plaza in Morristown on Sunday, September 9. You may choose one of 5 rides (18 – 107 miles) that wind through scenic Morris, Warren and Hunterdon counties.
