Acting For the Camera

Audition Bootcamp

Work on your acting, singing, and dance skills as you prepare for a mock audition at the end of this Broadway Bootcamp! Learn scenes, monologues, songs, and dance combos to “audition” for the big show. Students will improve triple threat skills throughout the course, and will also learn what it’s like to go through the professional audition process! Class will culminate with a showcase featuring the “audition” material from class.

Vocal Ensemble Project

Creative Composition Using Technology

The NEW! Creative Composition Class teaches the concepts of basic composition and digital audio recording using freely available software including notation and audio recording software. Company is an advanced musical theater class where students write their own musical with original songs, script, and characters! Students will have the opportunity to engage in songwriting, playwriting, improvisation, musicality, choreography, ensemble building, and set/costume design as well as develop technique in dance, voice, and acting all while rehearsing for the final show.

In addition to group classes for kids, teens, and adults, Wharton’s Performing Arts School offers private music lessons online via Zoom in voice, piano, violin, viola, cello, bass, guitar, flute, clarinet, trumpet, trombone, French horn, saxophone, percussion, and harp.

30, 45, and 60-minute private music lessons are available in flex packages, by semester, and for the academic year. Ask about our sibling discount and Financial Assistance!
