New Jersey Youth Symphony Free Outdoor Community Concert

Bringing a message of hope to the community through the sounds of its young musicians performing live music outdoors, NJYS will present a FREE concert featuring Youth Symphony Brass and PercussionYouth Orchestra BrassYouth Symphony WindsNJYS CL4tet, NJYS Percussion Quartet, and NJYS Mingus Jazz Combo. Performing works by Joan Tower, Valerie Coleman, Charlie Parker, George Gershwin, and Aaron Copland, among others, the concert will be conducted by Artistic Director and Principal Conductor Helen H. Cha-Pyo. The ensemble directors are Mesia Austin, Julius Tolentino, and Bryan Rudderow.

Join us on Sunday, October 25 at 3 PM in New Providence’s Centennial Park. Grab your mask and enjoy an afternoon of music at this family-friendly event!
