Bring A Buddy Week – Open Rehearsals at NJYS
You’re invited to visit a rehearsal! For full details, download the Bring A Buddy flyer or call (908) 771-5544. REGISTER HERE for Bring A Buddy week.

Who? Open to all students currently in grades 3- 11, who play violin, viola, cello, bass, flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, horn, trumpet, trombone, tuba or percussion. All Jazz instruments as well.

What? New Jersey Youth Symphony is host to 14 performing ensembles. Experience firsthand what our program has to offer you. Participants can choose to sight-read/play along, or just observe.

Where? New Jersey Youth Symphony, Rear entrance to business building. Parking available.

Drive in on the side with NJYS sign, drive out on the opposite side. Nearby train station: Murray Hill.

When? Visitors are invited to observe one or more of our regular rehearsals. Students can chose to stay for any portion of the rehearsal. Rehearsal times are below:

Tuesday, Feb 11
Sinfonia 5-7 pm
Youth Symphony 6:30-9:30 pm

Wednesday, Feb 12
Concertino Winds 5-6:30 pm,
Clarinet Ensemble 6:30-7:30 pm
Philharmonia 6:15-6:45 pm

Thursday, Feb 13
Primo Strings 4:30-5:00 pm
Concertino Strings 6:15-6:45 pm
Youth Orchestra 6:15-7:15 pm

Parents are also welcome to stay. Register online by February 1. To make sure we have a seat for you, advance registration is required. REGISTRATION IS FREE. Confirmation and details will be emailed upon receipt of registration.
